Bentley Owners Club Singapore Celebrates 11th Lunar New Year Gala at The St. Regis

The Bentley Owners Club Singapore (BOCS) marked its 11th Annual Chinese New Year Gala Dinner on 1 February 2026 with a full-scale celebration at the John Jacob Ballroom of The St. Regis Singapore. Held in honour of the Year of the Horse, the event brought together 220 members and guests for an evening that celebrated the Lunar New Year and the BOCS milestones.

Guests entered through a dedicated installation built around twin Pegasus figures. The mythological winged horse — long associated with Bentley’s Flying B emblem — was reinterpreted as a dual motif to align with the Lunar New Year zodiac.

This striking motif symbolised the powerful connection between the Year of the Horse and Bentley’s iconic “Flying B,” setting a majestic tone for the night. The installation served as the evening’s focal point and the backdrop for the photowall, framing the ballroom before dinner commenced.

The evening kicked off with a mass Loh Hei. All 220 guests stood alongside the BOCS executive committee for the prosperity toss, marking the start of the lunar new year. The dinner that followed was an eight-course Chinese menu curated for the gala, served across the ballroom with formal seating and full stage programming.

This year’s edition introduced a first for the club: a live auction. Conducted during the dinner, the auction featured a tightly selected group of high-value items. A bespoke Kwanpen handbag with diamond-set hardware closed at SGD 15,500. A 31-year-old Japanese single malt whisky sparked brisk bidding among collectors, with several guests competing for the bottle. An exclusive private tasting for six at Campari Rare was also put under the hammer. The introduction of the auction brought a competitive element that kept the room fully engaged.

Style played a central role in the evening. The Best Dressed segment recognised 10 guests who interpreted the dress code of “Oriental Chic and Black Tie”. The names were announced one by one, with recipients stepping forward to receive their recognition in front of guests.

The night concluded with a Grand Lucky Draw. The top prize — a diamond ring by Canary Diamonds valued at more than SGD 40,000 — was awarded live in the ballroom, closing the programme on a high note.

Now in its 11th year, the BOCS Lunar New Year Gala has become the largest Lunar New Year gathering among car clubs in Singapore. The evening underscored the club’s broader agenda of introducing member-led initiatives and events that extend beyond motoring alone.

Founded as a social club for Bentley owners, BOCS continues to organise drives, technical knowledge-sharing sessions and formal gatherings throughout the year. The Lunar New Year Gala remains its signature fixture — with new formats such as this year’s live auction — reinforcing the club’s position within Singapore’s automotive community.
